Doing a quick little video on how to make a sugary beverage healthier. This is done by not drinking the entire can/bottle, pouring it into a cup and adding ice to dilute it but most importantly by adding Metamucil to the drink. Your body processes sugar so much better with the added fiber. Most adults don't get enough fiber in their diets and most if not all sugary drinks contain no fiber. Your body will utilize the sugar so much better as well as the dozens of other reasons to increase your fiber.
Soda, pop and juice all contains large amounts of sugar but little to no fiber. This simple method can be used to increase the nutrition of what you are drinking. There are some Metamucil powders that are completely tasteless and can be mixed into any drink.
