Are your Sims in the Sims 3 always poor? If so, you might want to watch this video!
This is the best method I know of to make quick simoleons in the Sims 3.
While it is fun to make a paint goblin and lock them in the basement to paint for their entire lives... that pales in comparison to the power of the Science Station! Any Sim could make easy cash generating Plasma Bugs and selling them... but there is so much more to be done with this unassuming piece of equipment! And fortunately, since I'm playing a Witch, she can shortcut some of the tougher stages.
