34Hello and welcome to my review of Simulacra!
This is a horror/adventure/mobile phone thriller that was released in 2017 from Wales Interactive. If you've watched the Unfriended movies, or Searching, you might know what you're in for with this game. It's basically a kidnap story all told through your interactions with this phone that you've come into possession of. There's a lot that I liked about this game, but my favorite thing was easily how realistic the dialogue always felt with the people over texts. The voice acting, however... well it's not the best. But it was pretty funny after a while! I'm sure some people might not love the fact that it's on the phone the entire time, but I enjoyed that because of the familiarity. I'm on my phone all day already, so it just felt normal. I should really change my phone habits... that can't be healthy. If you've played this game, what did you think about it?
