It's time to flash back to a couple of generations ago with the Sinnoh Classic online competition held in Pokémon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire. This competition is open only to the first four generations of Pokémon, aside from the usual legendary Pokémon as well as Dragonite and Tyranitar. The format is 4 vs 4 double battles, with Mega Stones and Soul Dew being prohibited. Pokémon from earlier games that have been transferred up via the Poké Transporter are permitted to participate, which means I'll be bringing some of my battle-hardened Pokémon from my overall adventures into these battles!

My team for the Johto Classic consists of Blaze the Charizard, Sprout the Venusaur, Machamp, Eggbert the Togetic, Skippy the Swampert, and Scruff the Manectric. To learn about their movesets and strategies, check out our team building video for this week here:
