Quick sketch of Two-Face, I used a reference model who had a more modern haircut so I had the idea of a younger modern gangster. Just a cheapie dollar store gel pen, and a cheap dollarstore sketchbook .

Two-Face, whose real name is Harvey Dent, is a well-known fictional character in the Batman universe, created by writer Bill Finger and artist Bob Kane. He made his first appearance in "Detective Comics" #66 in 1942. Two-Face is one of Batman's most iconic and tragic villains, known for his dual personality and his obsession with the number two.

Key Characteristics of Two-Face (Harvey Dent):

Duality: Two-Face's defining characteristic is his obsession with duality and the number two. This obsession stems from a traumatic event in his past. After being disfigured by acid during a courtroom trial, he becomes mentally unhinged and starts making decisions based on the flip of a two-headed coin. The scarred side of his face becomes disfigured, while the unscarred side remains handsome.

Appearance: Two-Face's appearance is a striking and memorable one. Half of his face is horribly scarred and disfigured, with a melted, grotesque appearance. The other half remains untouched and retains his handsome features, creating a stark contrast.

Two-Headed Coin: Two-Face uses a two-headed coin to make decisions. He believes in the concept of chance and fate and leaves important choices up to the flip of his coin. The scarred side of the coin represents negative outcomes, while the unscarred side represents positive ones.

Dual Personality: Harvey Dent is the character's original personality, representing his noble and just nature as Gotham City's District Attorney. However, after his disfigurement, Two-Face emerges as a violent and unpredictable persona, often committing crimes based on the whims of his coin.

Crime and Obsession: Two-Face is a criminal mastermind who often commits crimes centered around the theme of duality. His crimes are meticulously planned and executed, and his obsession with the number two is prevalent in everything he does.

Conflict with Batman: Two-Face has a complex relationship with Batman. Batman sees Harvey Dent as a tragic figure and often tries to rehabilitate him, believing that Dent's original sense of justice can be restored. However, Two-Face's crimes and obsession with chance make him a dangerous adversary.

Supporting Characters: Two-Face has been associated with several supporting characters in the Batman mythos, including his loyal henchmen and allies, such as the Ventriloquist and Scarface.

Tragic Origin: Two-Face's origin is one of tragedy. His fall from grace as a respected lawyer and public figure to a criminal mastermind reflects the themes of duality and the fragile nature of human morality.

Two-Face is a compelling and multi-dimensional character in the Batman universe, representing the constant struggle between good and evil, sanity and madness, and order and chaos. His tragic backstory and psychological complexity have made him a fan-favorite among Batman's rogues' gallery of villains.
