Welcome back to the channel!
Today was a judgement call day. We were gaining weight pretty rapidly with the amount of fishing we've been eating, the chicken isn't quite sufficing on her own and we're struggling just a touch with the skills department. Homebase has just about everything we need to sustain everything long term, lose some weight and get back to our former glory. No brainer, right?
The trip home comes with a few tasks; smash out the last of the metalworking, pump ourselves right through long blade and put to the test just about everything we've been trying to achieve over the last 11 months. The checkpoint is looking riper than ever for the taking and I think that should be an excellent blade to really test ourselves and maximise Doug's true potential!
