Sky Chasers is a retro-style adventure game where you fly around in a cardboard box (not as silly as it sounds). The art style and music is fantastic, and the gameplay is super difficult.
On the monetization-side, you can choose to watch ads (or pay in-game gold) to activate checkpoints throughout the five rather long game worlds. Alternatively, you can buy the full game for around $3-4 and all checkpoints will automatically be unlocked. A great and very unobtrusive monetization!
There's also a sleeve of cute/funny/interesting cardboxes to unlock, and overall this game is an easy recommendation from my end. It might not be your TYPE of game, but what it does, it does well :)
