Today, I'm going to show you how to make nether quartz in SkyFactory 3 without even going into the Nether. So once again we are making an automated generator... a Nether Quartz Generator. One thing we'll need to get started is to plant the Ancient Spores onto Dirt. This will turn the Dirt into Mycelium. This is how you get Mycelium. If you put a Barrel onto the Mycelium and put water into the Barrel, this will make Witchwater. I have no idea if there is a Witch in the water or if only Witches can drink it. If you add Sand to the Witchwater, it'll turn into Soulsand. Then you can put the Soulsand in the Auto Sieve to turn it into Nether Quartz. Depending on what mesh you use, you might get a Ghast Tear.

SkyFactory 3 is a modpack for Minecraft where the player starts off on a single tree, on a single block of dirt. The player will then progress through some of the mods in SkyFactory 3, making a giant floating base.
The thing that draws me to SkyFactory 3 is the challenge of progressing through all the mods to build the ultimate machines and the ability to automate nearly everything in the modpack.
