+ The gameplay is fairly fun and fast paced. Similar to Smash Bros, although you die in one hit if anything hits you, and you are mainly shooting grappling hooks at each other and trying to dodge.
+ Quite a few "challenge stages" that are comprised of a bunch of little challenge minigames like break the targets, climb to the top before the lava rises, and kill X amount of enemies without dying.
+ A variety of game modes
+ Up to 4 player local multiplayer
+ Good soundtrack
- Not enough content, there's only 5 stages...
- The "power-ups" are more annoying than helpful. The game could have benefited from having more weapon variety
- You die in 1-hit. Hooks and punches happen extremely quickly without enough time to dodge or get out of the way. It seems like the best strategy is to keep pressing the dodge button standing in place, wait until someone comes close, and then punch / hook them. It's more or less "who punches/hooks first" and that's about it.
- I personally did not like the stage design. Each one is comprised of a few small platforms that you have to jump between. I wish these platforms were a bit larger with more room to actually move around. If you miss a grapple it's very likely that you may just fall to your death.
All in all, I just did not find this game to be all that enjoyable and lacking content. It may be fun with friends for a short while, but that's about it.
