We continue advancing the College of Winterhold main questline by heading to the dwarven ruins of Mzulft in search of the fabled (I guess) Staff of Magnus. However, there are a few detours on our way there.

First, when we were at the College we picked up the second Arniel's Endeavors quest, where we have to retrieve a staff for Enthir to help Arniel out. The staff is in Ilinalta's Deep, which is one location we're getting a little tired of. Fast travelling there, we speedrun it to get to the boss at the end and the item we need.

From there we head on to Eastmarch and begin journeying to the ruins. Along the way we get into it with a group of cultists, which turns out to be a surprisingly difficult fight. There are a couple of close calls, but ultimately we come out on top. Arriving at the ruins, a revered dragon then shows up and wants to have a go at us as well, but dragons just aren't a danger to us anymore.

At last we head inside, and the ruins are pretty standard Dwarven fare. There are automatons, there are traps, there are Falmer with their pet charuses (chauri?), and there's a lot of loot. We finish the first section, arriving at the doors to Mzulft Boilery, but we'll save that for next time.
