This video gives step by step instructions on how to Conjure an Ash Guardian in Skyrim's new Dragonborn DLC! In order to do this, without the Ash Guardian attacking you, you must have a heart stone. The only way to properly control and use this spell is by giving up a heart stone to use it. However, this is a small price to pay since this creature will never de-spawn until it is defeated or resummoned.
