My Take on the Skyrim Soundpack for Minecraft. With Dokucraft and Shaders.

As someone who played skyrim for ages since 2011, i wasnt really satisfied with the execution of some of the sounds within that soundpack. the author doesnt use all of skyrims potential, for example hes not thought of using the "oblivion door / summoning conjuration spell sound" for a nether portal. or he uses the "swinging iron sword against air skyrim sound" sound as the minecraft crit sound? even tho there are better fitting skyrim sounds for proper sword impacts. I wasnt able to let this unsued potential stand and i spent last night to find the skyrim.bsa soundseffects, convert those back into ogg, and changed the corresponding files mc files/ added new in. Now "it just works" as Todd would say and man its aweseome. It just feels like a new game and the high quality sound effects of skyrim make minecraft feel like a game thats way more refined kind of. Even the fights feel kind of exciting now, even tho its justs a dumb zombie lol. Playing with the vanilla mc sounds now kind of feels like cheap and made for kids somehow, which they probably were lmao, but u know what i mean. Give it a try, and let me know what u think later!
