Additional FAQs and concerns

1. There is a claim that TESV.exe cannot be found.

Try verifying your game or cache with Steam. It should help restore any files that are missing.
Also double check that whatever anti-virus software you are using doesn't mistake TESV.exe for a virus; if it does, it might have quarantined or gotten rid of the file.

To verify your game cache, right click the game in your Steam Library, go to Properties, then the Local Files tab. Select "Verify integrity of game cache."


2. There is no Scripts folder in my Skyrim / Data directory.

This just means you have not needed one yet; you can create your own, or create it by copy/pasting the SKSE's Script folder into your Skyrim / Data directory.
