Test recording Skyrim using the game dvr the gtx 1050 supports and from playing this game while recording I haven't seen any performance drops. the little pauses you see are coming from the game loading another character in the area and it's been doing this ever since I got this card a few weeks ago but I really don't know if something else is causing the pauses when another character is loaded in the area or if it's another hardware related thing.

Btw, notice how the lighting and colors looks in the video? I noticed whenever I record the game even when using elgato the videos also look like this while when I'm playing they look different. in fact the only time I ever saw the lighting and colors look like this was when I dropped the resolution down to 720p while at 1080p it always looks different for some reason.

Yes, what you're seeing in the video does actually look better than what I see in real time but I just can't figure out why real time looks different from the videos I record.

Really need the money for an Elgato HD60 Pro. The USB 2 version is good but I really want the Pro version to help make pc recording a little better.
