About The Slabs:
Sweeping granite slabs make this section of Whitehorse one of the premier friction climbing destinations on the East coast. Scintillating run-outs and occasional route finding difficulties add to the experience. While the slabs generally dry quickly after a rain, some sections will remain prone to seepage. If the weather is at all threatening, bring a second rope as retreat from high on the face can be problematic.
Routes have been listed from right to left, as you will encounter them from the White Mountain Hotel approach trail.
