This is a complete playthrough of Slave Zero, a third person action game released by Infogrames in 1999. This playthrough is done on the Hard Difficulty (with great difficulty), and provided without commentary. I am using Peixoto's patch to play this on higher resolutions using Direct X (allowing for better lighting and Bump mapping on the main character not available in glide).
This was an all time favorite of mine back in the day, despite it being a massive, buggy mess. I played it many times, both on the PC and on the DC back in the day. This game has a significant amount of serious bugs that causes crashes, the player getting stuck in parts of the map, and also allowing enemies to deal significantly too much damage at points. This is even more problematic on the Hard difficulty, often causing bosses to spam their highest attack. Because of this, you will notice that I have saved the game more often than normal (I did not hide the save moments) and you will also notice that after save points the game will say "game loaded" in the top left. This is often because I had died multiple times before successfully making it to the next level switch or save point. Take note of these save points because they are good suggestions as to when you should save. Also, if you find yourself unable to beat a boss, try multiple times, because their attack patterns often change each time you play it.
