Sleeping Dogs Has Two Weis Through It
10In Sleeping Dogs, you play Wei Shen, an undercover police officer. As the game continues, Wei's handler Raymond confronts him about the carnage and violence that is going on in the triad that Wei has been a part of in trying to get close to the triad's leaders. These two sides of Wei, the policeman and the triad member are the core conflict of Sleeping Dogs, at least mechanically. This video explores whether Wei actually is beholden to the law he swore to uphold as an officer of the law, or if he's just using it as an excuse to get his revenge.
