Slightly easier method of fighting the hydra | Dark Souls: Remastered
1Getting the Rusted Iron Ring makes the hydra in Darkroot Basin easier, as you're able to move around in the water as normal. This also makes getting the last head of the hydra more achievable, as it lets you catch up to the head before it can leave for another attack. It doesn't make it particularly easy, but it's doable.
Moving towards the waterfall side also gives you a bit more room to work with than staying at the shore.
If you're wondering why my damage is abysmal, it's because I made this character specifically to fight the hydra and kinda rushed getting to it.
