Slim Streams (6/15/18): Pokemon Crystal: Randomized Nuzlocke - Session #1
25Hey guys! How about a Nuzlocke? That sounds good to me! After the completion of my Yellow Nuzlocke last year, I decided to move up to to Generation 2 and add another 100 Pokemon to the mix! How will I fare in the challenges of Gen 2? We'll have to wait and see!
Basic rules of this particular nuzlocke, must catch the first pokemon of each route that I see (once I've obtained Pokeballs), towns and cities count, as well as sub-areas (like Sprout Tower, Burned Tower, etc.). Dupes clause is on, so if I get a pokemon I already have, I can opt to catch the next one for my catch. After every death, I can no longer use that pokemon in battle, but I can use them as HM slaves if need be, since all pokemon can use HM moves.
As far as randomization goes, I randomized pretty much everything except stats and Pokemon typings, so moves, items, pokemon locations, legendaries, trainer pokemon...you name it!
