This video has a real example of networking your home using 2 types of Powerline Adaptors, it shows you how to eliminate WiFi dead spots using the the TP-Link Powerline WiFi kit. It also shows you the BT Broadband Extender 500 kit and how to set them up which work perfectly for PCs, Laptops, Xbox, Playstations, Smart TVs etc.
Powerline Adapters use your homes mains electrical wiring to connect your devices. Connect a Powerline adapter to your Super Hub / Home Hub / Router / Network Switch and you can get on the web from any room with a working electricity socket. Ideal for those ares where your wireless (WiFi) won’t reach.

Powerline adapters are usually sold in pairs but you can add more adapters (more than 60) depending on the kit and your building. Some kits connect your equipment straight to your electrical plug using an Ethernet cable, while others also use wireless networking, so you can boost your signal to lots of different equipment at the same time.
