At first, I didn't want to include the narrative of collecting treasure keys, but Sly, Bentley, and Raleigh all talk about them, so it felt too important. I also didn't want to include the clue bottles and safes, so I went through each level twice. Once to collect the bottles and open the safe, and again to collect the key, without the level being littered with bottles. Opening the safes also meant that I could use cool moves like the dive and the slow motion. I also made sure to exclude any dialogue involving which buttons to press (gotta keep that fourth wall intact). I also intentionally got hit during the boss fight so that the lucky charm had some significance.

For each level, I included just about everything because they're relatively short, and they've got a lot of fun platforming which really show off Sly's skills. The only level I didn't include was "Treasure in the Depths" because it didn't have a very interesting narrative, and I felt like there was no way to make it look cinematic. I know having one less key makes it a plot hole, but I thought it was more important to make it interesting to watch than to keep the number of collectibles consistent.
