Controls:
Mario - press L to throw hat

Cappy - Dpad left/right to rotate the object
- A button to move forwards
- B button to move backwards
- L button to release

You can control every animated or solid object now. And you can force them to rotate or move a certain thing, rather than having to wait for them to home in on Mario. Mario now can't throw his hat for a few frames after leaving a body, so you don't have to worry about shooting your hat right after leaving all the time. Also, Mario's hat is now cappy.

Note: Many objects weren't designed to be moved like this and thus will bug out and look ugly. Proceed with caution.
