During my live stream of The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Ages last night, I remembered this goofy speedrun trick that solves a not-too-complicated puzzle with an even-less-complicated-than-intended maneuver.

In Level 3 Moonlit Grotto, there's a small puzzle toward the end of the dungeon just before you find the Boss Key. It requires stepping on a button to angle two rotating panels before aiming your Seed Shooter diagonally and bouncing a shot to hit a switch.

But if you just stand in the corner by some square blocks and charge a spin attack with your sword, you can hit the switch from beyond the wall, completely trivializing the puzzle.
