The sequel to the smash hit Slay the Spire, the aptly named Slay the Spire 2, was just confirmed to have been developed using the Godot game engine. The game was over 2 years into development using the Unity game engine when the entire Unity run-time fiasco occurred. While Unity walked back much of their controversial licensing change, it was not entirely reverted and MegaCrit, good to their word, moved elsewhere.
