SMB: The Lost Levels (NES) World 5-3 (Mario Game)
0This is the World 5-3 Level from Super Mario Bros: The Lost Levels for the Nintendo Entertainment System.
This level is also not very good. The beginning part loops endlessly until you figure out that you're supposed to go down a pipe that's suspended in the air. The game designers must have been idiots if they believed that makes any sense. That's actually not the bad part. The bad part is bouncing off of those Red Koopa Troopas to reach the pipe. How high you bounce off the Red Koopas seems to be completely random. Sometimes you even go shooting into the sky for no reason! There's even another Red Koopa at the end that you need to bounce off of to reach a platform. The only good things are that the rest of the stage after the looping part is pretty simple, and if you die you can keep getting a hidden power up block to get the Fire Flower again before progressing.
