This is the World 8-3 Level from Super Mario Bros: The Lost Levels for the Nintendo Entertainment System.

This level has to be the worst level in the game by far. It's so bad, that I can barely get through it without encountering some sort of bug or glitch that usually causes my death. No matter how hard a player can try, something will always go wrong. A shell will go straight through a Hammer Brother without killing it, you'll kick a shell in one direction but it will go in the opposite direction you kicked it and usually hit you, hammers will hit you without touching you, you'll fall through Lakitus when trying to jump on them, Koopas will kill you even though you clearly landed on their heads or randomly turn around to face you for no reason, and Spinies never go in the directions they are supposed to.

The trap blocks from the last level are also here again. However, this time there are some useful things hidden within them, and they can also be used as extra platforms. To top it off, in order to progress, you must move a pulley platform so that the right side lifts really high or else you won't make it far enough to reach the next platform. I had so many no continue runs lost on this one level, that it actually drove me insane. Whoever is responsible for this level should be forced to play it for the rest of their lives.
