SMB2 - Return to Subcon is a rom-hack of Super Mario Bros. 2 created by GlitchCat7. The hack is somewhat inspired by Kaizo Mario, but it is not nearly as difficult (which is intentional). The hack is very clever, and shows of a lot of smart usages of SMB2's mechanics which wasn't appearing in the original.

I am not too good of a Kaizo runner, I can admit that, but I still had a very good time with this hack. Is is challenging, but never too challenging. Some of the puzzles are a bit tricky, but I never felt I was stuck for too long. A very cool aspect of running this game was that sometimes I saw a trick and thought "I can never do this", but with some practise it was very fun to see that I could pull it off! It wasn't even that hard with some practise. Very cool experience.
