Lol due to all the stupid fighting people have been doing over this new Goddess Awilix I took her to practice. Seriously people leave the game if they don't get her and get forced to play support. I mean I know support isn't real fun to most but this is getting absurd.

I took her to the Jungle of course since I watched the Devtalk this time and wanted to play her as intended. However this is essentially my second time jungling ever so of course there's more efficient ways of doing this most likely and have to be way more careful and ward typically. She is rather squishy, not Serqet squishy but still could easily be first blood early on if the other team catches her. Her early levels can be a real pain too so she'll probably need help from her team-mates at the start.

Once she hits 5 or so though it becomes much easier and Bumba's finally starts to come in handy. She is squishy and I feel she'll need Bumba's since she doesn't have self sustaining skills like other Junglers do.

Kit wise she's a pretty strong assassin who has nice mobility with her Jaguar mount, Suku BUT cannot strafe fast while riding him. She of course loves to go after Gods who have leaps and jumps too as her ultimate will let her pull them! She can also knock them up herself is she hits them with her Moonlight Charge from behind or someone like Bacchus can really help set up her ultimate too with his Belly Flop Knock Ups. I do like how she counters these Gods with easy escapes.

Her abilities are:

Passive - Initiative: If Awilix strikes first from out of combat, she increases her physical power for a short duration.
Physical Power Increase: 30% for 2.5s

Comes in handy with ambushes/ganks after not having been in combat for a little bit.

1st Ability-Summon Suku: Awilix mounts her Panther Suku, gaining movement speed but decreasing strafe speed. Awilix may leap off of Suku to deal damage to all enemies in the target area. Canceling this ability before leaping will not trigger its cooldown.
Damage: 80/130/180/230/280 (+80% of your physical power)Movement Speed: 25%
Strafe Penalty: 50%
Range: 55
Cooldown: 15 seconds
Cost: 50/55/60/65/70 mana

This one is pretty cool and allows for some serious chasing or getting away, it's versatile like that. She is the first God to have a mount that matters gameplay wise so it's neat. Just don't bother Strafing since the penalty is a killer 50% so waaaay slower, just get off if you want to strafe.

2nd Ability - Feather Step: Awilix flips over the last enemy she hit within 1.5s, dealing damage as she passes over them. The damage dealt is modified based on the next attack in Awilix's basic attack progression. If the next attack in her third attack, then she also hits all targets in the area around her.
Damage: 60/90/120/150/180 (+50% of your physical power) Attack Progression Bonus: 1x, 1.5x, 2x
Range: 30
Cooldown: 8 seconds
Cost: 60/65/70/75/80 mana

Pretty powerful and very useful. Why? Not only does it hurt and provide some evasion opportunities but technically you could try to combo this with your Moonlight Charge if you landed behind them.

3rd Ability - Moonlight Charge: Suku comes to Awilix's aid, rushing forward and damaging all enemies. If hit from behind, enemies are also knocked up into the air.
Damage: 70/110/150/190/230 (+60% of your physical power)
Range: 65
Cooldown: 12 seconds
Cost: 85 mana

This is mostly good for the knock up effect when landed from behind. It can be tricky but so worth it since then you can try to ult them while they're knocked up. Maybe ok at hitting the waves with too.

Ultimate - Gravity Surge: Awilix calls upon the power of the moon, immediately pulling to her the closest enemy god in front of her that is either Leaping or Knocked Up into the air. The target god takes damage when it lands. Awilix is then bathed in moonlight, gaining bonus attack speed and Physical Power for 5s.
Damage: 200/250/300/350/400 (+100% of your physical power)Attack Speed: 30/40/50/60/70%
Physical Power: 20/30/40/50/60
Range: 80
Cooldown: 90 seconds
Cost: 100 mana

This ultimate is one of her more unique moves since it can really ruin Gods who try to escape with their jumps/leaps. Also combining this with Gods like Bacchus, Geb, Wukong, Sobek, He Bo, Vulcan and others whom have Knock Ups.

My last verdict? Pretty solid. She's probably going to see some minor changes. Her basic attacks might be toned down, maybe they'll lower the strafing penalty on Suku but think that's all I could see them changing.

Design wise pretty decent too. Some say her voice is annoying but eh..They haven't heard The Re-Animated Osiris voice pack which LITERALLY can hurt your ears lol. Her personality makes sense with her lore although I find it funny she apologizes for killing Gods but calls a weapon pretty. Weapons are mostly made ya know to kill. She does sound a lot like Neith admittedly though.
