Smite is one of those rare true action games on the market. With not much competition currently. With one of the best communication systems in gaming. Voice lines/commands aka VGS (voice-guided system). True Action games are the future. like Smite or the Kings Avatar animation.

Tab targeting games are the past. maybe we could find space for some hybrid action games like Guild Wars 2. MOBAs that only focus on Conquest map are the thing of the past (League of legends). League of Legends have amazing support for pro scene and Tencent...but they are still limiting themselves to only 1 map.
Conquest aka DOTA aka Defend of the Ancients was just 1 of 100000 community-made maps made in Warcraft 3 and starcraft 2 community made maps era. Community content is the reason why so many old games are still alive. Heroes of Might and Magic 3, Call of duty zombies, Warcraft 3 custom maps... Game and companies that divided their ranked base are shooting themselves in the foot...a lot of MOBA companies d that also Hirez...
Smite needs to add old fun game modes into Match of the Day rotation on weekends (Mario cart,3v3v3, capture the flag, adventures, old Joust...), they need to add more cosmetics rewards for playing he game...commendation rewards, triumph chest, achievement points rewards.... and Hirez needs to stop dividing ranked player base in every game they make...Arena vs Conquest in Smite, Domination vs Strikeout in Rogue Company etc...This game needs Arena ranked scene, (leaderboard and some ranked rewards), Clan wars, t they need to stop forcing players who wanna be ranked in Smite into Conquest/Joust and they need to stop forcing players from EU who wanna play on SPL to move to NA. Hirez needs to stop sleeping on EU and Arena players. otherwise, they will get drive ver by time... MOBAs that only care about the Conquest scene are dying... Smite is one of the best true action games out there. with not much competition currently...and we have one of the best communications system in gaming voice lines aka VGS and we have something for everyone Conquest or Arena fans...
