In this tutorial series, Ken LaRue walks through the steps and workflow used to create a futuristic Heads Up Display shot used in the short film "The Place Where You Live".

Ken takes a deeper look at Smoke's 3D composing tool, Action, and how layers from the timeline can be converted into layers and media in Action. Then, he looks at how to manually add more layers by dragging and dropping them into Connect FX and Action.
