In this tutorial series, Ken LaRue walks through the steps for compositing an animated contact lens into a person's eye, without leaving the timeline.

The first part of this series looks at editing the video in the timeline, and using the comp node and Action to start compositing layers together. You'll also see how to track the animated contact lens to follow the camera movement, and how to use the animation curve editor to fine tune tracking keyframes.
