I looked up mc's name but he really doesn't have one. I stopped recording so I had to join the videos with crappy software, but still better than even lower quality free online sites.

I went with the P3 mc's name that was discontinued for some reason. It was used in the official P3 manga but years later when the P3 movies were made they changed his name for some reason.

Just like with Yu Narukami from P4 who at first had a different name in the manga before the TV series changed it. Though I forgot his original manga name.

For some bizarre reason you can only choose hard mode at the beginning, even though you can change to other difficulties and change between freely afterwards.

I heard hard mode in this game was reasonable, unlike the Nocturne hard mode that is just a dull, massive grind fest when the game is already very grindy (in a good way) and not actually more fun like the DDS 2 hard mode where everyone does 150% damage when hitting a weakness but this is wrong.

Hard mode in SMT V: Vengeance is basically like your average DQ game, you just have to grind your brains out from the very beginning because otherwise you die.

EDIT: Yeah, well, actually not. Atlus people must have been drunk when they designed this part of the game because in hard mode the very beginning is really hard and really grind intensive, making you fight the same 2-3 enemies over and over while mostly using normal attacks because you can't refill MP much but then only a few hours later when the game opens op it gets far easier and especially, far more fun.
And once you can fuse demons and stuff and you can fight a variety of different enemies, normal mode turns so easy that if you just do the optional sidequests and collect treasures and stuff and merely fight the enemies on your way, not even going out of your way to really grind you become really op to the point that random encounters offer zero challenge and are over in a flash and even bosses aren't very impressive, especially not for SMT standards.
