SMT V Vengeance - This is not a viable strategy
I dunno what I am doing lol. I kinda semi-panicked and misjudged the situation, I had put demons away cause I was out of mp on them and out of mp and turns to easily heal them but when the demons I swapped in also ran low on mp or hp I accidentally swapped the others back in, especially Parvati without enough MP to actually do anything.
I was this close to winning but then snatched defeat from the jaws of victory.
Still, this is not the kind of "difficulty" I mean, it's 95% annoyance because chakra drops refill enough MP for 2 or even just A SINGLE skill use which also makes using them not a viable strategy at this point in the game for any boss fight that isn't over quickly.
I spent like 4 turns doing nothing but using chakra drops with mc and that bought me like 6 turns of additional skill usage early in the fight and never recovered from that.
It's kinda bs but admittedly as a side effect it makes swapping demons a very much viable strategy which, I love because it allows you to really make use of the many different demons you were building up, swapping only using half a turn is amazing.
But I was not prepared for this or for the boss' weakness to switch in the 2nd half of the fight.
In the very end I thought the boss was 1-2 skills away from dead so I didn't use a chakra drop on mc, this could have allowed me to win without any demons dead and missing out on the boss exp.
I was lvl 37 vs recommended lvl 38 and barely prepared at all but I guess a bit more preparation is needed.
I didn't even fuse any lvl 37 demons even though I can make a proper Artemis now (I had her join before but I wanna fuse one with the Wind and Storm Dracostrikes I got on others instead of using the magic skills she learns) and especially, I can make a new tank that is strong enough and has high enough vi to replace black ooze whom I didn't really use after Matador because it's so goddamn ugly (yes, that's the whole reason lol).
PS: Yes, I recorded this off of a video player off the recording I made of the whole fight because I have no video cutting software, last time I tried the free downloadable ones they screwed up my Windows so hard I had to reinstall it and the free online video cutters all have a size limit of at most 1GB but mostly a paltry few hundred MB like for 30 second videos or videos with like 3kb/s bitrate.
So the only reasonable way I had to not uploaded the whole video and only the relevant part where I totally screwed up was recording off of my own recording.
