Steps:
- From the home screen of Snapchat, tap on the three dots button to the right of where it says ‘my story’ or ‘add to my story’.
- Select ‘story settings’ from the menu that appears.
- In the story settings, tap ‘Custom’.
- Now from the list of friends, just tap on the friend or friends who you want to prevent from seeing your story.
- Tap ‘block’ when you have finished selecting.
- When someone is blocked they will have a check to the right of their name.
- You can allow them to see your story again by unchecking the box and then tapping ‘block’ at the bottom.
- Another way of doing this is from the Snapchat settings.
- From the homepage of Snapchat tap on the settings cog in the top right corner.
- In settings, scroll to the privacy control heading and tap on ‘view my story’
- Tap custom, and then tap on the person or people you want to prevent from seeing your story.
- Tap ‘block’ at the bottom.
- To allow them to view your story again, tap on their name, when the check is gone, they can view your story.
