SNES Longplay [271] Ogre Battle (Part 4 of 12)

The first in the totally awesome Ogre Battle Saga series of strategy games that spun off into Tactics Ogre (and by extension, Final Fantasy Tactics). I'd apologize for the length, but the game is really inescapably long. I cut out some segments of me grinding to raise or lower the alignment of a character for a class change.
I went for the canon "best" ending, the "World" ending, recruiting every special character (except for Galf; he and the "World" ending are mutually exclusive) including Deneb. To get Deneb my reputation had to be very low, which is why I didn't liberate every town in the Kastolatian Sea (to liberate later and raise my low reputation), and also why I allowed so many towns to be recaptured by the enemy at Antanjyl (to lower my reputation quickly). I was lucky enough to receive several crowns over the course of the game, so by the end most of my units were led by princesses, leading to entertainingly huge amounts of damage output.
After the main game's ending, I used the FIRESEAL code to play the bonus map, Dragon's Haven. The level has a ridiculous amount of enemies and very few resources (namely towns for income with which to buy tarot cards and healing items), so I confronted the boss much more quickly than I did stages in the main game where resources are more abundant. -
