- Nice collection of SNK/Neo-Geo games
- Nice organized menu layouts
- Very affordable alternative to getting a Neo-Geo and games
Cons:
- Poor Audio quality
- VERY long loading times on ALL games
- No Infrastructure Online (Would've been great for Samurai Shodown.)
Overall Thoughts:
Do I recommend this? Yes only for hardcore Neo-Geo fans. Now this did come out on the Wii and PS2 as well and I have read the Wii version is the best one to purchase because apparently some games in this collection have "considerable slowdown." I quote that because I'm not familiar with most of the titles on this collection so I can't confirm nor deny the validity of these claims. Apparently Shock Troopers suffered from slowdown more than the other games on the PSP & PS2 release. Also the Wii version also supports 4 different control schemes as well as supporting 480p resolution. So if you want the PSP release of this DOWNLOAD IT ON THE PSN!!! I stress this because apparently the loading times are much shorter, BUT it is $19.99 as opposed to 9.99 for the UMD, so if you don't care about long loading times go with the UMD release.
