Released in 2009, Assassin's Creed II was lauded as a masterpiece and its protagonist (Ezio Auditore) remains the face of the franchise until present day. Many OG AC fans look back on the Ezio Trilogy as the peak of the series, but until this year I had never played these games. So today, I'm diving into Assassin's Creed II and sharing my perspective as a first time player in 2023. In this review, I'll explore the various aspects of gameplay and how the game improved upon AC1.
