13I was not prepared for this really. For some time I have thought that my system would struggle to play Outpost then, during my recent low period, I picked it up on offer on a whim. I tried it and, um, at this point I'm over 50 hours in just chilling with it?
To warn you, even in the time since I recorded this I've come to realise some things I say in here are just wrong or me misunderstanding. Yeah, shows I was not in the best place. But hey, how many errors can you spot? I'm willing to learn! XD
Outpost: Infinity Siege has some flaws and quirks but it is a mash of a number of genres. Looting, crafting, tower defence and base building, all woven in behind first person shooting and an unexpectedly deep gun customisation system. Yeah... this game ticks so many boxes in games I enjoy, it's no wonder it got its hooks into me.
