Sochi is a city in Russia, located on the northeastern coast of the Black Sea (Black Sea coast of Russia) in the Krasnodar Territory, at a distance of 1615 km from Moscow. The administrative center of the municipality is the resort city of Sochi.

In 2018, the city hosted the matches of the World Cup.
