Story time about the power of social media for Tasty Toro!
Giselle went on TikTok Saturday and put out the word that her husband's restaurant on 11th in Cap Hill needed help. That video has been viewed 375k times. I was tagged by a bunch of followers and off I went. So many people I know went or shared it, and this resulted in it being so busy that they ran out of food.
The place is a tiny fast casual independent scratch kitchen serving globally inspired bowls, burritos and salads featuring premium locally sourced ingredients.
I got the Barbie Bowl and the Captain Jack burrito and I'm telling you they were both exceptional. I would guess the biggest issue with this concept is the off the beaten path location. They're closed today but I definitely would recommend that you check it out but be patient as I'm sure they are going to be really busy.
