Soft 'n Hardware, Expensive or Useful? - Kirblog 7/16/16
Danthelonewolf on tumblr asked a very astute question about how they should spend their money when it comes to investing in equipment and programs necessary for the career they want to pursue and do the work required from home. It's important to have a firm grasp on the medium you want to focus on, because it IS necessary to buy the hardware and software you need to grow and learn and continue to work. For this Kirblog, I go into a few suggestions on specific programs for animation, art and voice recording, as well as the microphones I work with, my cintiq tablet and my general technical setup. Further, based on my personal experiences in doing what I do over the years, I make some suggestions on what to think about while saving up to buy the stuff you might want to start working on what you wanna do in the future. I hope this one helps anybody thinking about the same things before they start investing into what you'll need for the future!
