In Softimage 2011, Python is now automatically installed on Windows by default. Additional scripting enhancements include: a script editor which now supports tabs, new file options including "save all tabs" and the ability to set the preferences to show spaces instead of tabs. Softimage also supports ActiveX-compliant scripting languages: VBScript, JScript and PerlScript. http://www.autodesk.com/softimage
