Solar Guitars EU AC6BR RAW Demo Metal Song - No Talking by High Z Productions
Solar Guitars EU AC6BR RAW unsponsored review by High Z Productions. The made in Europe Solar Guitar is near-perfect and has sounded great in every context I’ve used it in, from rock and blues to heavy metal. Here is a metal song I wrote to demonstrate this instrument’s capabilities. For the full review, go here: https://youtu.be/Aq9JBmad1bE

00:00 Bridge pickup - metal riffs
00:08 Bridge pickup - Chugs and riffs
00:16 Bridge pickup - lead tone
00:24 Neck pickup - guitar solo tone
00:32 Bridge pickup - many guitars at once
00:40 Neck pickup - clean guitars
Note: the pickup selector switch is larger than the average toggle switch. It almost feels like a blade switch, which for me is a really good thing.
This guitar is incredible. From the aesthetically pleasing carves, to the grunt of the passive pickups, to the deep playability of the set neck, this is a reliable, stable, and amazing sounding instrument. Lightweight to be played all day and all night, and equipped with the hardware to stay in tune while doing it. This guitar is beyond a riff machine, this is a true professional instrument. Even the split coil tones give a strong performance instead of sounding like a tacked-on feature.
The body is swap ash and lightweight. So much so that the neck will slightly dive if your strap is slippery. The body is thin and carved and doesn’t get in your way. This allows for easy access to the strings for your palm muting and picking.
The neck has maximum playability. It’s thin without feeling thin and very comfortable to play in both thumb-behind-the-neck styles and thumb-around-neck. The only disappointment are the fretboard edges - they’re not rounded at all. It’s not a bad feel but you do feel it as you move your hand up and down the neck, a bummer for a guitar at this price point.
The Evertune is great and works like all other Evertunes do. It does hold your strings in tune but you do need to understand how it works as well as that the wood of the guitar will still shift and behave as wood does. The Evertune has saved me many hours of time especially in the crazy temperature fluctuations of my apartment.
Overall this guitar is incredible and has been able to exceed expectations in everything I’ve used it for. It sounds amazing for leads and rhythms, it's easy to play, and it’s stable. It’s a guitar I’m going to keep. However I’d say it is just slightly too expensive to be able to definitely recommend this. If it’s within your means to obtain one and the features are exactly what you’re looking for, go for it! It won’t let you down.
