In this video we explore an old DOS game: Solar Winds 2 - Universe - (AKA Solar Winds the escape)
Published by Epic Mega games and designed by James Schmalz - During this game I look up Stone Interactive Media and failed to look up the designers name... He also did Epic Pinball and started a company called Digital Extremes here in Canada that went on to develop things like Unreal Tournament and Warframe.

Anyhow in these humble beginings we're flying around space getting into pretty straight forward space combat and trying our best to avoid hyper drive since fuel powers everything from life support to shields and weapons and yet seems to be relatively finite and unreplenishable without winning combat or completing missions. Humans are trapped in a shield around a few solar systems and it's up to us to try and find a way to free them before they are forced into a confict that'll destroy both civilizations trapped in there.
