Some Fixed WIng Flying Fun (with a Mavic Mini shooting some footage)
74It's been a long time since I've managed to get any fixed-wing flying in, but I met up with my old flying buddy Neil, and we went off and flew some planes! Neil's Dart wasn't damaged during the tree fun, but it looked like a loose servo wire (we think) caused issues on another launched and it nosed in pretty heavily. Nothing a bit of glue can't put right.
I really like the perspective of Neil's Mavic Mini here. I think it shows the wing flying around in the field in a lot better context, so I used lots of his great footage. Whilst the mini wouldn't normally be able to keep up, we had a decent headwind flying back towards ourselves where I could bring the Falcon down to 20ish kph so was easy for the Mini to keep up.
