But Google's a big ol' meanie, so... *sticks out tongue at Google*

Yeah, I decided to give this some more tries, and I eventually pulled it off! Took me lots of tries though, and I barely made it on this attempt!

Since Bowser was the main obstacle, what I decided to do was start from Back Door's midpoint. It's the same fight either way, and I already proved I could reach Bowser in Front Door, so this was just meant as a time-saver.

And, as usual, the first half of the video shows the fight with layer 2 and sprites invisible, and the second half of the video shows the same fight with everything visible.
