Alright, thanks to Zeldara109, this challenge just got more interesting. With a few hex edits, Iggy and Larry can be made to throw their balls much more rapidly!

To do this, use a hex editor to make the following hex edits to the SMW ROM:
Change the byte at 0xFD0A from 0F to 00.
Change the byte at 0xFD12 from 7F to 3F.
Change the byte at 0xFD16 from 7F to 3F.
Change the byte at 0xFD86 from 12 to 00.

The challenge rules remain the same (I must last for 105 seconds, or 158 SMW seconds, no power ups, no jumping on the boss, and optionally, no spin jumping). However, with these bosses on rapid-fire now, it took me multiple tries to succeed this time.

Note: I challenged Iggy this time because the Podoboos in Larry's room cause his rapid-fire balls to hit the sprite limit, which prevents some of his balls from spawning. Also, this lets me use that subtitle, which is the title of an N64 game (which I've read about in Nintendo Power but never actually played).

BTW, go to 0:44 to skip the meaningless main part of the castle and go straight to the actual challenge.
