This time around, I'm doing the secret exit of this level without the following:
-B button
-Blue Yoshi
-Power ups of any kind
-Yellow Switch Palace

Once again, this run is tool-assisted, due to a couple of very tricky jumps in the second half. So, it turns out the Yellow Switch Palace isn't necessary, nor are any power ups (I kind of figured that). I do end up powering up at the midway gate, but I take an intentional hit just afterward to offset that. As for the Yellow Switch block just above the lava after midpoint, I don't know why I thought I needed it before. The normal jumps across are easy enough, and when I come back with the springboard, one bounce is enough to clear the whole expanse (and even if it wasn't, I could've just rested on the power up block temporarily)!
