SMW challenge by poddish:
Kill Mario in as many unique ways as I can within two and a half minutes. I can't have any midpoints active before starting, and I should try to avoid dying the exact same way more than once. Also, glitches aren't allowed unless they're necessary for a unique death.

Well, off the top of my head, I can think of seven unique ways to kill Mario (though there's probably more). These are listed in the order they occur in the video:

1. Time Up: When the timer hits zero, Mario undergoes critical existence failure right on the spot.
(I did this one first, starting the video with Mario already in a level with time nearly up. Otherwise, I probably couldn't have fit it within the time limit.)
2. Killer camera: If Mario somehow goes way too far below the screen, he may suffer a spontaneous heart attack.
(This requires a glitch: I decided to cape spin through a large chunk of turn blocks very rapidly in Star World 1, but it can also be done with the invisible Yoshi glitch: Board the invisible Yoshi at a low point in a level, then scroll the screen up high somehow, and press A.)
3. Your standard "collide with an enemy while small" death.
4. Lava: Hot.
5. Bottomless pit-- A leading cause of death for Italian plumbers.
6. Getting crushed by walls/floor/ceiling/etc.
7. Touching a spike or muncher while small. Similar to number 3, but it's an object and not a sprite that kills Mario.

As far as the game's programming goes, numbers 2 and 5 are probably the same, but I didn't actually fall into a bottomless pit for number 2.

After I did the seventh death, I still had some time left on the clock, so I quickly found an eighth way to die, although it's pretty much the same as number 3, but I couldn't think of anything else at the time.

8. Continuing to hold onto a stunned enemy until it wakes up is a laughable way to die.

No custom music, as I'm not in any of the levels for very long.

Well, this was fun. I'm not exactly sure how to rate the difficulty on this one though, so I'll just put something silly there instead.
Creativity: 7.5
Difficulty: The square root of minus one divided by zero times pudding.
