Some Guy's SMW Challenge [Square Root of -2] Not So Sunken
14A special SMW challenge from mysterypersonofwin:
Clear the first two rooms in the Sunken Ghost Ship with the water turned off. Then, in the last room, collect every Yoshi coin, but don't kill any enemies or touch any gray blocks.
Also, I was supposed to start this level with a cape so that the second room would be possible, but the cape isn't actually needed! (If I did bring a cape, I was supposed to intentionally lose it before entering the last room anyway.)
The first room is cake. Mmm... cake... (drooling noises)
The second room isn't too bad either. I can spin jump off of Eeries or Boos to make the high jumps, and the disappearing/reappearing boo field seems to have a glitch. After moving about half a screen from where the boos appear, they don't hurt me anymore! Also, if the boo field is still present when I get to where a boo ring would normally appear, the boo ring won't spawn!
The last room is the hard part. I can't dodge the first star, so I have to avoid every enemy. However, directly between the first and second Yoshi coins is a row of parakoopas, and in order to reach the second Yoshi coin, I have to slip through them without hitting one (if I go completely around them instead, I won't be able to reach the second Yoshi coin). That was the hardest part of this challenge, and it took me several tries before I got lucky! After that, just simply memorizing where everything is (and briefly landing on the ? block, which isn't gray!) gets me through the rest of the level.

I'd say this one was pretty interesting.

Difficulty: 9 (Only because of that parakoopa row. Otherwise 8.)
